OK, little bit of an edit here for - Fae lore features quite strongly in my belief as a celtic pagan. (I also believe that Avalon existed, and still does, set apart from the mortal realms) The Fae take many forms, both winged and non winged. Some are kind, and others take great pleasure in causing humans pain, misery, and even death. There are many legends and stories of the Fae from many different cultures and religions, from all over Europe and as far afield as China.

This is a benevolent and kind fae, though perhaps slightly mischievous!
