Description
My first attempt in Painter. I like this program, though the brush lag is annoyingly slow. Every time I lift my pen from the tablet, I have to wait for up to a minute before I can make the next brush stroke. I think my computer might be in need of a defrag.
The stories go that at Halloween we should keep a fire burning to ward off the evil spirits.
This particular fire was inspired by an unfortunately blurry shot of the bardic fire last Winter Revel. So I decided to paint it instead!

That looks great, Elfy!
As for the slowness - I am not sure. I have not used painter, but when I used Photoshop under Windows, it does give me the lag when I use large brushes.
These days, I have shifted to Linux+GIMP - and for the lag to appear, I have to use a crazy large brush.
